How Bondi Beach shooting unfolded

Australia has vowed to strengthen the countryÕs gun laws after
at least 15 people were killed by gunmen targeting the Jewish
community at a Hanukkah event on SydneyÕs Bondi Beach

6.47pm: Sajid returns to bridge
where video shows Naveed is still
shooting. He re-arms. Both men
come under fire from police

Sajid is shot and falls to ground

6.50pm: Naveed is shot. Unarmed
civilian bystanders approach bridge

onto bridge in chaotic scenes

7.30pm: Police seen surrounding
shooters on ground. Sajid Akram is
confirmed dead, while Naveed
is taken to hospital with injuries

Aftermath: Police declare attack
to be terrorist incident. Car belonging
to shooters is found with improvised
explosive devices (IEDs) inside
