The U.S. and Ukraine are said to have agreed on the terms of a draft
minerals deal central to Kyiv’s push to win Washington’s support as
President Donald Trump seeks to end the war with Russia

demand for $500 billion claim over
Ukraine’s minerals as compensation
for its wartime assistance to Kyiv

Instead, Kyiv would contribute
50% of proceeds from state-owned
resources into joint U.S.-Ukraine
fund, which would be used to invest
in projects in Ukraine

ahead with formal peace talks
between Ukraine and Russia
