Lost Chopin waltz rediscovered

A previously unknown waltz by composer Frédéric Chopin has been unearthed among a collection of cultural memorabilia by a museum curator in New York

Frédéric François Chopin (Mar 1,1810-Oct 17, 1849)
Born in Żelazowa Wola, Poland and grew up in Warsaw

He was child prodigy, completing musical education by time he was 20 years old, when he left Poland for France

All Chopin’s music features piano and is technically challenging
to execute

Was in ill health most of his life, dying in Paris at age of 39

Chopin had unusual way of scribing bass clef musical symbol
