72-hole individual stroke play over four rounds – player with lowest aggregate score after final round wins tournament

Players: 60 men and 60 women participate, based on world rankings. Maximum of four players per nation

Driver: Used to strike ball off tee on longer holes

Tiebreak rules
Sudden death playoff will decide medals if players are tied for first, second or third place after 72 holes
