Max Verstappen clinched his second F1 title at the Japanese Grand Prix, and is in pole position to challenge several records in the remaining four races of the season

Verstappen took his points tally to 366 in Japan.
With maximum 112 points remaining he could eclipse Lewis Hamilton’s (right) record of 413 in 2019

Most race wins in single season: 13
Verstappen has 12 race wins to date, and could break record of 13 held by Michael Schumacher (2004) and Sebastian Vettel (2013) 

Most podiums in single season: 18
With podium places in 14 of 18 races, Verstappen could equal his own 2021 record with top three finishes in each of four last races

Biggest championship-winning points margin: 155
Verstappen currently leads Sergio Perez by 113 points, and could surpass Vettel’s 155-point margin of victory over Fernando Alonso in 2013
