Teen aims to break sister’s flight record

Mack Rutherford, 16, is bidding to become the youngest person to fly solo around the world – a feat his elder sister Zara, 19, completed in January 2022

Mack will use same Shark ultralight aircraft Zara used for her record-breaking journey

If successful, Mack will also become youngest male to complete solo round-world flight, beating record set by Travis Ludlow in 2021 at age 18
