“Magic carpet ride” goes off-road

Rolls-Royce is marketing the new Cullinan off-roader as an “all-terrain high-bodied” vehicle, built on the Phantom VIII’s latest aluminium spaceframe, with air suspension key to maintaining traction


Engine: 6.75 litre, twin-turbo V-12 cylinder. Generates 571PS at 5,000rpm and 850Nm of torque from as low as 1,600rpm

Hatchback offers folding rear-facing leather seats and cocktail table

Wheelbase: 3,295mm

All-wheel drive with four-wheel steering

Torque is delivered to rear or front axle as needed

Up to 540mm wading depth

Power Reserve gauge replaces rev counter

Central multi-media touchscreen display

Drive-style controller, “Off-road,” and air suspension buttons
