Distance: Almost 4,800km between most northern venue (Edmonton) and most southern (Mexico City)

Past tournaments: Mexico (in 1970 and 1986) and U.S. (in 1994) have already hosted World Cups on their own. Canada staged 2015 Women’s World Cup
