TANAP to start first gas deliveries

The Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) – set to bring Azeri natural gas to Turkey and the EU – is the central link in the so-called Southern Gas Corridor aimed at reducing Europe’s reliance on Russian supplies

Operational: Due early 2020
Capacity: 10 billion cubic metres initially, rising to 20bcm

Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP)
Length: 1,850km
Operational: June 2018
Capacity: 16bcm initially (6bcm to Turkey, 10bcm to TAP), rising to 31bcm

South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP)
Length: 700km
Operational: 2006
Capacity: 7bcm currently, being increased to 23bcm
