California wine country hit by deadly wildfires

Wildfires fanned by strong winds have swept through northern California, killing at least 10 people, destroying around 1,500 buildings and forcing the evacuation of some 20,000 people


Death toll is highest since 14 people died in blazes that swept southern California in October 2007
