Eruption sparks evacuation of entire island

The South Pacific nation of Vanuatu has ordered a full evacuation of Ambae island where a rumbling volcano is threatening to erupt


All 11,000 residents evacuated to islands of Maewo, Pentecost and Espiritu Santo amid fears of major eruption

Volcano has been seen emitting clouds of smoke with signs of hot lava emerging to surface in its crater in recent days
