Rules and regulations

Teams: Ten teams compete. Each team has two drivers and each driver uses two cars per race

Season: 12 events, taking place on 10 different street or race tracks

Event: Takes place in single day

Practice: 75 mins

Qualifying: 60 mins

Race: 50 mins*

Qualifying: Five fastest drivers compete for Super Pole postition
(power capped at 200kW) – winner earns 3 points

Pit stop: Drivers must make one pit stop to change cars. Both are
identical (170kW). Tyre changes not permitted, unless for damage

Fanboost: Fans vote online for favourite drivers prior to race start, with three highest scorers each receiving 100kj energy boost – to be used only once, in second car, after pit stop
