Syria vote: Totally opposes military action in Syria. As chairman of Stop the War Coalition he says he will apologise to British people for Labour taking them into Iraq War on basis of deception

NATO: Has previously called for Britain’s withdrawal, now argues that alliance should “restrict its role”

Trident: Opposes renewal of Trident nuclear weapon system. Is likely to team up with Scottish National party to block vote

Airport expansion: Opposes new runways at Heathrow or Gatwick. Expansion is backed by big business

Railways: Wants to renationalise  railways. Voted against High Speed 2  rail link from London to north in  2014 — but recent comments more  positive on high speed rail

Economy: Says he will reduce deficit  and end austerity. Proposes “People’s  Quantitative Easing” – to allow Bank  of England to print money to invest in infrastructure projects
