Russia to build more nuclear reactors in Iran

Russia has signed a contract to build two more nuclear reactors in Iran, possibly followed by another six, in a move intended to cement closer ties between the two countries

Bushehr Phase II: Two new reactors to be located at Iran’s first Russian-built nuclear plant, whichopened in 2013. Construction to bemonitored by International Atomic Energy Agency, according to Russian nuclear power company Rosatom. Russia will supply uranium fuel and retrieve it after use – deal intended to stop Iran using spent fuel to build atomic weapons
