U.S. and allies attack Islamic State in Syria

The U.S. and five Arab countries have launched airstrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria. The attacks used fighter jets, bombers and Tomahawk missiles. Since August the U.S. has mounted more than 190 air strikes against IS in Iraq  Haditha
