Global carbon emissions reach new record high

Spurred chiefly by China, the United States and India, the world spewed far more carbon pollution into the air in 2013 than ever before, according to scientists, as more than 100 world leaders gather at the UN Climate Summit in New York to discuss how to reduce heat-trapping gases
