In “28 Days”, Sandra Bullock plays a party girl who is sent to alcohol rehab after one too many drunken escapades. The $30 million film was directed by Betty Thomas from a script by hot scribe Susannah Grant, who also wrote recent box office leader “Erin Brockovich.”
